Amazing, i’ll never look at Woody the same way again.

Best poster EVER!

Today in class we had a small debate about ‘Helvetica’ and it’s use. Our lecturer Andrew had also proposed the task of someone putting ‘Comic Sans’ on one of their final promotional material for our exhibition projects. As we discussed and joked i quickly put this together.  It has changed from the original as i had put one of my projects, yet to be decided, title in place of “helvetica’.

I know i shouldn’t but, there is something about it i like.Am i sick?

This is a project from a year ago now.

I was asked to write my own brief at college and i chose to create something for Skateboarding making it’s 1st appearance at the London Olympics 2012.

As it so happened skateboardings first appearance got canceled but, I carried on. These are the results and there are a few more things i could post but i won’t as they would look better printed.

I will i get all of these printed, framed and photographed soon.

**This was not a live brief and had nothing to with the Official London 2012 Olympics and the London 2012 Olympics Logo is not owned by me, obviously, thought i’d get that out there just in case**

Play the video then read…

This Blog is now going to be my main blog, I’m gonna get back into creating graphics and this blog will also contain pictures of my projects (finished) I’ve been working on.

Since i started Uni i have been rather confused about what I’m doing and trying to settle into what I’m doing now. This blog will now contain any graphic material i produce.

Well just now i’m going to go through all my old work and put up the stuff that has stood the test of time and my taste. I have a piece that i finished in the summer and just haven’t got round to getting it printed and framed. Hopefully, i will get that done and up this weekend.

I am also working on some artwork for Our Smallest Adventures and their upcoming EP release. Excited about this concept and can’t wait to see the finished article.

So? How good is Into It Over it?! Has to be one of my favourite musicians.

Awesome, I think doing something like this would be a great way to symbolize data. I have always want to use graphics like this and really think this would fit in my project

This is an amazing re-brand for more4. This project is very abstract and as this is my passion. I love the way that this represents many areas of the channel and in a way can be related to my project as the censorship issue has many areas and issues within the topic

“channel 4 in-house creative agency, 4Creative and ManvsMachine commissioned Jason Bruges Studio as Production Designers for the new More 4 live-action idents for the channel. The studio created the production design, build and installation across 4 different locations including 2 outdoor and 2 indoor sites. With just 4 weeks from commissioning to installation the studio drafted in production help from Middlesex University. All of the production was completed in the studio’s workshop in Old Street, London.

The re-brand is centred round a bold, flexible logo that morphs through a series of flips, folds and reveals. The colour palette reflects the vibrant nature of interiors, food culture, fashion and other contemporary lifestyle programming. Live-action idents see the brand break out into the real world in the form of mechanical ‘flippers’. The installations inhabit environments from a domestic staircase to an abandoned fishing boat in Dungeness.”

This is an amazing piece of work. That is a 2D representation of the Icelandic volcano that erupted a couple of years ago. With very clever use of light and shadows the 2D picture becomes 3D… Very inspiring!

Looks amazing

This is the second experiment for my Wowee Brief, the first experiment was performed with water, i can’t seem to find the first experiment at this moment but i will up load it as soon as i find it.

This was performed with milk and it hides the speaker and give it a more contemporary look. The white milk also helps distinguish the shapes the liquid makes when the music is powering through.
